Welcome to Eswatini
Insurance Brokers

Swaziland Insurance Brokers (Pty) Limited, now Eswatini Insurance Brokers (EIB), was established in 1971 to provide risk management and insurance broking services to commerce, industry and individuals in the Kingdom of Eswatini. The purchase of our major shareholder in October 1996 by Aon Holdings, one of the largest broking houses in the world, followed by a merger with Bowring and Minet Swaziland in 1998, resulted in a change of name for the company to Aon Swaziland (Pty) Limited.

In 2018, Aon resolved to move away from direct ownership in Southern Africa and settled for a Correspondent arrangements.

EIB is the oldest insurance broking firm, even older than Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation.

Today the company handles a substantial proportion of risks in the Kingdom, serving clients in all sectors of Eswatini’s agricultural, commercial and industrial sectors as well as most of the parastatal organizations.

EIB is the founder member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Swaziland.
